I'm a Rochester native, but spent 10 years in South Florida. After a number of years working in the trades doing everything from concrete form work to trim carpentry in multi-million dollar homes, hurricane Andrew hit. That's when I started my first remodeling company and took on the reconstruction of three of the homes that were destroyed in the hurricane. The name of that company was "Preferred Craftsmen". I operated under that name for almost 20 years. Most of those years I operated as a subcontractor. The services I provided were primarily kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows, and siding. In 2009 I changed the name of the company to "Rochester Renovation" and began providing my services directly to customers.
